For GRUPPOEMMEBI, sustainability means conducting its activities with an eye to the future and orienting the own business strategy to create value in the medium and long term. Environmental, social and governance factors – ESG – are at the core of GRUPPOEMMEBI policy.
For this GRUPPOEMMEBI’s committed to minimizing and optimizing the impact that its business activities generate on the environment and invests in technical / design and production solutions that act as drivers for economic growth through the careful management of all the resources involved in business processes. GRUPPOEMMEBI is also committed to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
ENVIRONMENT
GRUPPOEMMEBI’s commitment is divided into various objectives, such as the responsible management of resources, the containment of waste production, the reduction and optimization of the use of materials and the reduction of carbon emissions generated directly by the GROUP or linked to its business activity, up to the installation of a new self-production electric power plant.
SOCIAL
GRUPPOEMMEBI is active in supporting social and humanitarian initiatives also through the provision of contributions to foundations, institutions, organizations or entities dedicated to the performance of social activities and more generally aimed at improving living conditions.
GOVERNANCE
To safeguard the process of creating value for its customers, employees, partners, suppliers, shareholders, GRUPPOEMMEBI undertakes to implement rules and procedures that govern its decision-making, control and monitoring processes of corporate activities. Furthermore, GRUPPOEMMEBI intends to adopt a governance model for the future with independent directors who are able to give even greater importance to the aspect of correct management.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability are a strategic objective.
E. Some investments have already been made on the production process, such as the new silos for the sanding part and the water-based painting process which replaced the classic solvent phase. The ecological and energy transition process that inspires GRUPPOEMMEBI also concerns the membership of ReteClima, an integrated system for sustainable development.
S. An integrated system cannot overlook an adequate return, not only on its own structure, on welfare initiatives and on long-life training, but also on the community. The creation of MB LAB will combine the needs of schools and universities with the reality and industriousness of a company.
G. The establishment of an independent Board or Strategic Committee which, together with the managers, guides the company in the choices of sustainable growth and business concerning interior design services.
